The Education Access Fund aims to diversify the nation’s student population in higher education and increase the retention rate of traditionally underrepresented students by alleviating the financial burden. Simply put, equal access to higher education is essential if our ever-diversifying nation is to effectively tackle continuous challenges in healthcare, economics, politics, education access, and the environment. This fact cannot be overstated.

It is our hope that this scholarship will help pay for accommodations/lodging, books, supplies, or other items that allow the deserving student to focus on and complete their studies.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Identify as a Black/African-American, Hispanic/Latinx, and/or Native American/Indigenous Alaskan, Asian-American/Pacific Islander (AAPI), or Hawaiian Native.

  • Be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or DACA Recipient

  • Must be a current Travelers Rest High School senior planning to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States by Fall 2022
